Share Our Selves donors tour facility
An Irvine food company’s management team got to see how their $7,500 donation to Costa Mesa-based Share Our Selves will be put into action when they met with some of the soup kitchen’s officials and got a tour of their facility Wednesday.
The donation from Irvine-based TODDS Enterprises Inc., a soup- and sauce-making company, covers the costs of more than 3,300 bags of food for the needy, said SOS’ Elizabeth Evans.
The money will go directly toward buying protein and dairy items for the SOS Food Pantry program. The kitchen receives about $350,000 in donations for its food pantry and serves more than 100,000 people annually.
