Idelfonso Castillo Garcia

Garcia, Idelfonso Castillo, 86, passed away with loved ones by his side October 5, 2012. Born in Belen, New Mexico, Alfonso served in the Army and later was a proud member of Laborers Union Local 300 in Southern California. Alfonso was a devoted husband and brother, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He loved to dance, go camping, loved animals and most of all will be remembered for his exuberant spirit. Survived by his son Joseph Garcia and wife Sharon; his daughter Rebecca Mack; daughter Nadine Sanchez and husband Jim Melville; niece Carol Gerhardt and her husband Mike; his grandchildren, his brothers Gillie Garcia, Richard Garcia, sister Nadine Barba, brother Wilfred Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews. Alfonso was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nellie May Garcia, his son Alfonso Garcia, Jr., and three brothers. A burial service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, 11:30 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside.
