OCC melodrama set for Dec. 7 to 16
Celebrate the holidays with some old fashioned Christmas entertainment — and ice cream.
Orange Coast College’s Repertory Theatre Company will present its annual show, “An Old-Fashioned Christmas Melodrama and Ice Cream Social,” for two weekends in December in the Drama Lab Theatre, 2701 Fairview Road.
The program, directed by theater arts professor Rick Golson, features a holiday sing-along, vaudeville acts, music and the play, “The Toy Master General,” by OCC theater instructor David Scaglione.
Santa Claus is also expected to make a visit from the North Pole, and parents are encouraged to bring their cameras.
The shows runs from Dec. 7 to 16 with performances at 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday and a matinee show at 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Advanced tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Tickets at the door are $9 for adults and $7 for children and seniors. Advanced tickets can be purchased at the OCC bursar’s office at (714) 432-5880 or at https://www.occtickets.com.
