Marilyn Hess Cross

Marilyn Hess Cross (1926-2013)
Born December 7, 1926 in Pensacola, FL. Died February 27, 2013 in Costa Mesa, CA. Marilyn is survived by her three sons Brook Cross, Larry Cross, and Brad Cross, her two granddaughters Chelsea Wilson and Paulina Cross, her great granddaughter Charlotte Wilson, and her brother and sister-in-law Randall and Anna Hess. She was predeceased by her husband Myrle Cross and her sister Beverly Hess. Marilyn held a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Miami as well as a Master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan. She was a stay at home mom while her children were young before returning to work as a bookkeeper. After retirement she enjoyed taking regular exercise classes at her local senior center and spending time with her family. Per her wishes, a memorial will be held on Friday March 8, 2013 at 1pm at the Costa Mesa Senior Center. If you would like to attend please contact Chelsea Wilson at 760-899-6977.
