Time to clean up Dog Beach
Employees from Aloha Pavers will hold their second annual Dog Beach cleanup Saturday morning.
A green tent will be set up at the parking lot between Goldenwest Street and Seapoint Street along Pacific Coast Highway where they will be handing out bags and T-shirts to those who help that day, Aloha Pavers spokesman Michael Finnican said.
Aloha Pavers is a Huntington Beach business that installs stone walkways for homes in Orange County.
The cleanup will start at 9 a.m. at Huntington Dog Beach and will go on throughout the entire day and the public is encouraged to come out and help, he said.
“T.J. Callahan [owner of Aloha Pavers] is from Hawaii and he has a great love for the ocean and keeping the community and the beaches clean,” Finnican said.
