Warning signs taken down at Little Corona Beach
Signs warning about bacteria levels at Little Corona Beach were removed Friday, officials said.
On Thursday, the Orange County Health Care Agency posted signs on a 500-foot stretch, warning beachgoers of bacteria levels that exceeded health standards, according to a press release from the agency.
The Orange County Health Care Agency routinely tests the area for indicators of disease-causing bacteria.
It was unclear what caused the elevated levels.
