Fairview Park meeting moved up two days

City officials have moved up the date of the next Fairview Park Citizens Advisory Committee meeting, citing a scheduling conflict.

The Fairview Park panel will now meet at 6 p.m. Aug. 19, not Aug. 21 as originally scheduled. The meeting is scheduled to be in the Police Department’s Emergency Operations Center, 99 Fair Drive.

From 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21, there is a General Plan workshop, also in the Emergency Operations Center, that will focus on land-use issues. A puppet show will be offered for kids whose parents are attending the workshop.

“The city of Costa Mesa values and encourages residents to participate in both of these meetings since their input is invaluable to the planning process,” Alfa Lopez, a city management analyst, wrote in an email.

Starting in September, the Fairview Park Citizens Advisory Committee meetings will be at 6 p.m. the third Thursday of each month in Conference Room 1A on the first floor of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive.
