Police: Man robs 7-Eleven with revolver

Costa Mesa police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven at Baker and Bristol streets about 8 a.m. Thursday, officials said.

The man, identified as a Latino between 20 and 30 years old, allegedly came into the store with a revolver. He fled southbound with an undisclosed amount of money, said Sgt. Victor Bakkila.

There are currently no suspects, police said.

About 8:45 a.m. two police cars were at the entrance of the 7-Eleven and police tape blocked the front doors.
