Charles “Chip” G. Bury September 12, 1955 - February 15, 2014

Beloved son, brother, husband and father, Charles (Chip) G. Bury went to be with the lord on February 15, 2014 at the age of 58 following a fatal allergic reaction.

Born in 1955, Chip grew up on Lido Isle, and attended Carden Hall in Newport Beach and Newport Harbor High School. After graduating high school, Chip continued his studies at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.

He was married to Janeen Thomas and had 3 sons... Danny, Alex, and Nick Bury, all of whom survive him. He is also survived by his mother Frances A. Bury of Lido Isle and his sister, Brenda Bury from Bonny Doon, California.

Chip had a great love of the ocean and was an avid surfer and sailor. There will be a memorial paddle out for Chip on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Newport Pier.
