Police arrest suspect in hit-and-run case
Huntington Beach police have arrested a Costa Mesa man on suspicion of a hit-and-run last month that left a motorcyclist hospitalized.
Police arrested De Andre Curtis Hill, 47, at a Costa Mesa hotel about 1:50 p.m. Sunday. He was booked at the Huntington Beach city jail on suspicion of hit-and-run and driving on a suspended driver’s license, according to a Police Department release.
The release said Hill also had an outstanding DUI warrant from an unrelated incident.
On Feb. 24, a black Dodge Magnum station wagon struck a motorcyclist at Beach Boulevard and Slater Avenue in Huntington Beach. The driver fled the scene, the release said.
