Three gun-related crimes reported
Three firearm-related crimes were reported in Huntington Beach last weekend, with one resident suffering injuries, according to a Huntington Beach Police Department.
In an incident Sunday, a shotgun was fired into an apartment window in the 2200 block of Hess Circle after an ongoing dispute between two neighbors, according to a police report. The report said the weapon was actually a BB gun. No one was injured inside the apartment, and the suspect was arrested.
Earlier Sunday, police responded to a call at Seasprite Circle after a suspect struck their neighbor with a handgun during an argument, according to an incident report. Police arrested the suspect and seized the firearm.
On Saturday morning, residents reported gunshots in the alley in the 17200 block of Ash Lane. Police found bullet casings in the alley and discovered that rounds had penetrated a vehicle and an apartment, according to a police department post on Facebook. No injuries were reported.
