A Huntington Beach man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possession of marijuana and cocaine for sale after authorities served two search warrants, according to a Fountain Valley police news release.
Investigators also found 115 pounds of marijuana worth $1,309,056, 1.5 pounds of cocaine worth $63,193 and a large amount of cash, according to authorities.
Jace Remington, 34, posted bail the following day after being booked into Orange County Jail, according to the Orange County sheriff’s department website.
Fountain Valley police served the search warrants in relation to a narcotics investigation, according to release.
Authorities searched a house in the 6300 block of Myrtle Drive and another residence in the 8600 block of El Cerro Circle in Fountain Valley, where the marijuana and cocaine were reportedly found.
According to police, Remington had been out on bail after an arrest in June for narcotics sales. Orange County Superior Court records show that Remington was charged then with multiple offenses, including suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Court records also show that he has been convicted multiple times of marijuana possession as far back as 1997.
