Mailbag: Thank you to Pet Parade judges

We have enjoyed Laguna Beach’s Pet Parade and Chili Cook-off for nine years with our dogs. And this year was no exception.

My husband and our two red Labradors, Red Waggin and Salsa Maria, had a great afternoon.

Thank you to the sponsors and everyone who puts on this great event. Joanne Culverhouse, again, was outstanding as the emcee.

But in my excitement and haste, I didn’t thank the judges of the Pet Parade, who awarded Red Waggin 2nd place in the senior category. We simply adore our hard-working therapy dogs, but it’s so nice to have the judges see them as gorgeous also.

We are so grateful to these seven busy people for taking time to judge all of the great pets who attended the event Sunday.
