Commentary: A love like in the movies
Ah, young love.
The story of Colby Reedy and Krista Campbell. Date night has always been Thursday. A great meal at Sushi Zen or the Yard House, followed by a movie at The Triangle, which many of us know as Triangle Square.
On July 12, the routine was a bit different. After dinner, they ventured upstairs to Triangle Square Cinemas to see what was playing.
As they approached the box office, the illuminated marquee read “KRISTA WILL YOU MARRY ME”.
Colby dropped to one knee and proposed. A few friends then jumped out to capture the moment on camera, while other patrons joined in the joy of the moment.
Colby presented Krista with a beautiful engagement ring he bought from the kind folks at William Harold Jewelers on the Balboa Peninsula.
Krista accepted the proposal.
