College Roundup: Vanguard women’s soccer loses to Southeastern in NAIA tournament

The No. 11-seeded Vanguard University women’s soccer team’s season ended with a 5-1 loss to No. 6 Southeastern on Tuesday in the second round of the NAIA tournament in Orange Beach, Ala.

Yulie Lopez had three goals for Southeastern (18-4), which advances to play No. 3 Northwestern Ohio (21-1) in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Myranda Baca scored for the Lions (14-3-2).
