Audi Fletcher Jones wins Mesa Verde Classic golf tournament

Chris Childs, Dan Kupfer, Don Lucarelli and Jeff Anderson, representing Audi Fletcher Jones in Costa Mesa, combined to shoot 135 and win the 16th annual Mesa Verde Classic golf tournament on Monday at Mesa Verde Country Club.

The foursome, competing for the first time in the Mesa Verde Classic, won the tournament, which featured a Texas Shamble format.

Costa Mesa United, an organization that supports local athletic teams and facilities, said in a press release that the tournament raised $80,000 for youth sports.

Other winners included Bryan Nestic (closest to the pin), Linda Patton (women’s longest drive), Derek Browning (men’s longest drive) and Mike Clavin (putting).
