CdM (17-9, 8-2 in league), ranked No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division III-AA final regular-season coaches’ poll, shared the league title with University (15-10, 8-2). The back-to-back setbacks in league will most likely hurt the Sea Kings from earning a top four seed in the playoffs. The section releases its playoff pairings on Sunday.

Senior Danny Cheek led CdM with 24 points, while senior Marcus Bradley contributed 14 points.
