COSTA MESA — Dillon Emery had 21 kills and six aces to lead OCC to a 23-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-12 win Thursday.

Freshman outside hitter John Christian had 13 kills and setter Michael Ensign dished out 44 assists for OCC (2-2).

The Pirates will play in the UC Davis Tournament this weekend.

IRVINE — Kat Facey won at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 5-7, (15-13), for the Anteaters in the nonconference match Thursday.

Marivick Mamiit won at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 5-7, (10-8), for UCI (3-4).

Pepperdine is 3-3.

COSTA MESA — Nory Call won at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-2, for the Pirates in the nonconference match Thursday.

In doubles action, the team of Madelyn Koehly and Krystal Hernandez posted an 8-5 win, while teammates Remi Sutton and Nicole Pham prevailed, 8-2, for OCC (1-1).
