Fight Club OC returns

Fight Club OC’s opening night is Thursday, marking its third year at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa.

Fight Club OC, which is presented by promoter Roy Englebrecht, a Newport Beach resident, will feature a seven-bout card inside the Hangar. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the first fight is scheduled at 7:35 p.m.

The card features heavyweight boxer Alexander Flores (11-0) against veteran Harold Sconiers (18-26-2). There will also be two mixed martial arts bouts, a women’s boxing bout, and bantamweight Joet Gonzalez (2-0) will fight as well.
