WESTMINSTER — Steven Macias struck out nine and allowed just four hits in his complete game to help give Coach Nate Goellrich a win in his debut Thursday.
Levi Stillman was three for three with two runs scored and a run batted in during the pool-play game of the Newport Elks Tournament’s Costa Mesa Division.
Macias went two for three with three runs scored and an RBI, while Andres Hernandez went two for four with three RBIs as part of Estancia’s 13-hit attack. Matt Jarmacz (two for four, one RBI) and Alex Trancoso (three runs scored) also contributed.

LONG BEACH — Eagles senior Jake Knapp shot even-par 36 for medalist honors in the nonleague match Thursday at El Dorado Golf Course.
Jake Stone (41), Courtland Lee (41), Davin Ortiz and Aaron Wood (both 43) also scored for Estancia (2-1).
The Eagles have their Orange Coast League opener Tuesday against Calvary Chapel, at Mesa Verde Country Club.

The No. 1 doubles team of Matt Thomas and Erik Cerros, and the No. 3 team of Sterling Gates and Charlie Griffen also swept.
