HUNTINGTON BEACH — The Sea Kings won their 43rd straight match Wednesday at SeaCliff Country Club.

Chase Wheatley shot two-under-par 34 to earn medalist honors amid windy and cold conditions for CdM (5-0).

Karick Brown, Bryan Hong and Walter Frome each shot 39, while Drew Hanson carded a 40 for the Sea Kings.

Dana Hills 194, Newport Harbor 199

SANTA ANA — Landon Knight shot one-over-par 37 to share medalist honors for the Sailors in the nonleauge match at Santa Ana Country Club Wednesday.

Max Meisenheimer (39), Eli Gomez (39), Brad Tapfer (40) and Mason Moody (44) also scored for Newport Harbor (5-1).

Clay Feagler of Dana Hill shot 37 and was co-medalist.

CORONA DEL MAR — Senior pitcher Dash Johnson threw a complete-game three-hittter with eight strikeouts and two walks for the Sea Kings in the Newport Elks Tournament Foothill Division consolation game Wedneday.

Nick Roco, Brett Olson and Dash (1-1) drove in two runs each for CdM (2-2), which continues play in the tournament on Friday against Ocean View at the Sea Kings’ diamond.

BOYS’ TENNIS

Estancia 10, Oxford Academy 8

COSTA MESA — No. 1 singles player Robert Marrone won twice, 6-2, 6-4, for the Eagles in the nonleague game Wednesday.

The doubles teams won six sets, each duo winning twice for Estancia (6-1), which plays host to Westminster Thursday.

GIRLS’ SWIMMING

Costa Mesa 111, Los Amigos 56

Kellie Thorsness won two individual events and swam on two winning relays for the Mustangs Tuesday.

She won the 50 freestyle in 25:48 seconds and the 100 free in 55:86. She was also on the victorious 200 free relay (1:48.72) and 400 free relay (4:00.72) teams.

Both relays also included Aubry Hill, Kaitlyn Hill and Lauren Smith.

Aubry Hill was a double winner, 100 butterfly (1:11.04) and 500 free (6:13.88).

Lauren Smith won the 200 free (2:06.54) and finished second in the 100 free (58.06).
