INDIAN WELLS — Top-seeded Vanguard University dispatched Hope International, 5-0, in the semifinals Thursday at Indian Wells Tennis Center.
The Lions (20-0), ranked No. 3 in the NAIA, will face Westmont in the title match on Friday at 10 a.m.
Vanguard freshman Stefan Kilchhofer posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles, then teamed with sophomore Roger Muri to earn an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
Freshman Dayman Johnson won 12 of 13 games at No. 6 singles for the Lions.

INDIAN WELLS — No. 3-seeded Vanguard University upset No. 2-seeded Concordia, 5-3, in the semifinals on Thursday at Indian Wells Tennis Center.
Sophomore Juliet Lebarthe rallied for a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles for the Lions (11-14), who face top-seeded Westmont in the title match on Friday at 10 a.m.
Freshman Michelle Sullivan also rallied for a 1-6, 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles, then teamed with Lebarthe to claim an 8-5 triumph for the Lions at No. 1 doubles.
Sophomore Nina Pudar earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles for Vanguard, ranked No. 12 in the NAIA.
Concordia (9-11) is ranked No. 9.
