Breakers fall on road

Anna-Lena Groenefeld earned the lone win for the Orange County Breakers, who lost to the Philadelphia Freedoms, 23-19, in a World Team Tennis match Thursday night.

Groenefeld beat Kristyna Pliskova, 5-3, in the women’s singles match.

The Breakers (3-4) were edged, 5-4, in men’s doubles, men’s singles and women’s doubles. The Breakers play at the Washington Kastles Friday night.
