TH Hoops 9U takes second in tourney

The TH Hoops 9U team, comprised of 7- to 10-year-olds, finished second with a record of 2-1 in the Swoosh Summer Sizzle at the MAP Sports Facility in Garden Grove recently.

Matthew DeCrona (12.3 points per game) and JJ Barker (7.3 rebounds per game) led TH Hoops, while Matthew Poska and Jonathan Tapia contributed overall fine play.

TH Hoops overcame an 8-0 deficit in the final game to win, 32-24.

Sanjay Tewari, Dylan Abe and Kaiden Kahkosko also contributed throughout the weekend.
