NEWPORT BEACH — Freshman Amy Matsuoka fired an ever-par 35 on Tuesday, earning medalist honors and helping the Sea Kings tie a school record for best round at Newport Beach Country Club.
Karlie Moses shot a 39 for CdM (5-7, 4-5 in Pacific Coast League).
Emily Turner finished with a 41), followed by Hanna Hogan (42) and Ann Kim (46).

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Freshman Grace Ferrell earned medalist honors after shooting two-over-par 38 in the Sailors’ Sunset League match at Seacliff Country Club on Tuesday.
Tara Hanna she had a 40 for Newport Harbor (5-10, 2-5 in league).
Hannah Perry (46), Bowie Viloria (56) and Christina Ferraro (56) each contribute to the Sailors.
Newport Harbor plays Marina on Thursday at Meadowlark Golf Club at 2:30 p.m.

IRVINE — Senior Angela Choi and freshman Michelle Chen both shot three-over-par 39 for the Lightning in the Academy League match at Strawberry Farms Golf Course Tuesday.
Choi and Chen had one birdie each.
Junior Cindy Qi had her second best round of the season, shooting 49 for Sage Hill (8-3, 4-1 in league).
