HUNTINGTON BEACH — Sophomore point guard Bo St. Geme hit two key free throws with four seconds left, helping the Sea Kings hold on and beat the Griffins in the Sunset League-Pacific Coast League Challenge at Huntington Beach High on Tuesday.
Blake Grable and Max Stone led CdM (6-4) with 12 points apiece.
St. Geme had 10 points, and Drew Olson finished with nine points and 10 rebounds.
The Sea Kings play host to the Battle of the Bay game against Newport Harbor on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Whitney 52, Estancia 49 (OT)
CERRITOS — Ben Beck scored 24 points for the Eagles in the nonleague game Tuesday.
Mark Jarmacz had eight points and eight rebounds and Chad Fackler had seven points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals for Estancia (2-7), which plays its home opener against Sage Hill Friday night at 7.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO
Newport Harbor 13, Long Beach Wilson 0
NEWPORT BEACH — Carly Christian had six goals, two assists and six steals for the Sailors in the nonleague game Tuesday.
Avery Peterson added two goals, one assist and two steals, Carolyn Smith had two goals, one assist and two steals, and Elissia Schilling had one goal and six steals for Newport Harbor (3-1).
Goalie Cleo Harrington made 10 saves for Newport Harbor, which plays at Corona del Mar in the Battle of the Bay Friday at 4 p.m.
CdM is ranked No. 1 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 poll, and Newport Harbor is No. 3.

Costa Mesa 11, Tustin 6
TUSTIN — Aubry Hill had four goals and two steals, and drew three ejections and two five-meter penalty shots for the Mustangs in the nonleague game Monday.
Alicia Redescheid scored three goals, while Lauren Smith and Kelllie Thorsness scored two goals each for Costa Mesa.
Goalie Kaitlyn Hill made 10 saves for the Mustangs, who play host to Kennedy Friday in the third annual Costa Mesa Classic.

WRESTLING
Newport Harbor 41, Capistrano Valley 25
NEWPORT BEACH — Andrew Kraft’s huge pin in the 138-pound match was one of the highlights for the Sailors in the nonleague dual Tuesday.
Kraft, facing an 8-3 deficit in the third and final period, scored a takedown and pinned his opponent with about 40 seconds left to win the match.
R.J. Roberts (182 pounds) earned a pin in the second period to help Newport Harbor improve to 7-1.
The Sailors will play host to Corona del Mar and Estancia Thursday at 4 p.m. CdM and Estancia will wrestle in a dual first. Then Newport Harbor will face Estancia.
The night will end with the Sailors competing against CdM for the Golden Singlet, the prize for the winner of the Battle of the Bay.

NEWPORT BEACH — Jasmyne Winters scored nine points for the Sailors in a nonlegue game Monday.
Bela Raimondi scored seven points, McKenna Izzi had four points, six rebounds and three steals, and Jennifer Lopez had three points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals for Newport Harbor, which plays host to Costa Mesa Wednesday at 7 p.m.
