CdM seventh-grade girls’ volleyball team captures league title

The Corona del Mar seventh-grade girls’ volleyball team beat Ensign in two games to secure the Costal Athletic League championship.

Michelle Wan, Nikki Senske and Megan Chelf provided strong offensive and defensive play and led the team to victory. Also contributing to the win was support from Sarah Ensign, Lyla Madison, Ava Yacoel and Olivia Freyman.

The team, including Kristin Frederick, Ella Jacobs, Brooke Healy, Megan Peterson, and Ruby Sevingy was coached by Katie Holtz.

CdM beat Harbor Day in the quarterfinals and Dwyer in the semifinals.
