“As a company, Toshiba values the achievements of young adults through academics, and the Toshiba Classic is the ideal platform to recognize the outstanding work of these students,” Simons said in a press release. “During the past 15 years, we have had the opportunity to meet some of the brightest students in Orange County, not only do they excel in the classroom, but their commitment to servicing the community is astounding. These 12 finalists embody the mission we set forth when we started the scholarship program.”
