Senior Kacie Kline had five goals for the Sea Kings in Wednesday’s nonleague game at home.

Sabrina Smith and Jamie Smith each scored twice for CdM, while Kendall Mulvaney and Peyton Carter added goals.

Newport Harbor 193, Dana Hills 194

SANTA ANA — Clay Feagler of Dana Hills was the medalist, but the Sailors were able to edge out the nonleague match Wednesday at Santa Ana Country Club.

Brad Tapfer and Thomas Terry each shot even-par 36 for Newport Harbor (2-0). Mason Moody (39), Landon Knight (41) and Ryan Standt (41) also scored.

Newport Harbor plays in a tournament Monday at Aliso Viejo.

Estancia 200, Tustin 240

Kobi Uta shot two-over-par 37 to earn medalist honors and lead the Eagles to the nonleague win Wednesday at Costa Mesa Country Club’s Mesa Linda course.

Estancia improved to 1-1.

Hale Furey and Karick Brown both shot one-over-par 36 to lead the Sea Kings to the season-opening win at Newport Beach Country Club Wednesday.

Ian Fletcher (37), Garrett Wayne (38), Chase Furey (39) and Drew Hanson (39) also scored for CdM (1-0).

Newport Harbor 9, El Dorado 1

Kole Escher had three goals, two assists and three ground balls for the Sailors in Wednesday’s nonleague season opener at home.

Alex Fuller had two goals and four assists for the Sailors, and Chris Buchanan also scored twice. John Mooers and Nathan Chaness also scored, while keeper Eli Gutierrez made five saves.

Blake Lenk (five takeaways, two knockdowns and two ground balls) and Liam Whalen (three takeaways and six ground balls) led the defensive effort for Newport Harbor.
