LA JOLLA — Danielle Warde scored three goals and dished out two assists for the No. 5-ranked Anteaters in the nonconference game Thursday at Canyonview Aquatic Center.
Mackenzie Milham and Gabby Pierandozzi added assists as well for UCI (16-6). Goalie Jillian Yocum made six saves along with a steal.
UCSD is 13-17.

Doubleheader
Vanguard improved to 29-12, 23-10 in the Golden State Athletic Conference after a pair of 3-1 wins over visiting San Diego Christian Thursday.
Junior right-hander Sean Isaac pitched eight innings and recorded 16 strikeouts in Game 1. He walked one, allowed three hits and one run.
Sophomore Brandon Sandoval went two for four with one run and one RBI in the second game to lead the Lions.

Doubleheader
No. 14-ranked Vanguard split the nonconference doubleheader, winning 7-5, after losing the first game, 6-3, against visiting No. 11 Cal State San Marcos Thursday.
Junior catcher Lindsay Sullivan went two for three with two RBIs for the Lions (33-1) in their win.
Senior Brittney Boggs went one for three with two RBIs and a run scored in Vanguard’s win.
