Newport Harbor baseball goes 3-1 in Beach Pit Classic

Rigsby Duncan went two for three with a double and three runs batted in for the Sailors to close out the Beach Pit Classic at Newport Harbor on Wednesday.

Jonah Dipoto pitched five innings. He struck out five and allowed one run on four hits to improve to 2-3. Liam Ogburn earned the save.

Sean Korkmaz, Josh Spicer and Jeremiah Sheldon had one hit eachfor Newoprt Harbor, which went 3-1 in the tourney.

The Sailors return to Sunset League play on Wednesday when they play host to Los Alamitos at 3:15 p.m.
