High School Roundup: Sage Hill takes down Oxford Academy

Adam Langevin and Omead Moini each swept in singles for the Lightning in Friday’s Academy League match at The Tennis Club.
Freshman Ash Etedali won twice in singles, while the doubles teams of Kian Etedali and Ian Huang, as well as Grant Janavs and Will Sanderson, each won twice.
Sage Hill (7-3, 4-0 in league) stayed tied for first in league with Crean Lutheran. The Lightning play host to Whitney on Monday.

CYPRESS — Zach Drobenko had nine kills in as the Lightning swept, 25-11, 25-16, 25-16, in an Academy League road match Friday.
Logan Senn had six kills and two service aces for Sage Hill (4-2 in league).

Jack Pelc went two for four with one run batted in and one run scored for the Lightning in the Academy League game Friday.

Chandler Pearce scored four goals for the Sailors on Thursday night.
Alex Pearce added three goals and an assist, while Joe Fuller (two goals, two assists), Alex Fuller (two goals, two assists), John Mooers (two goals), PJ Steiner (17 of 23 faceoffs won) and Blake Lenk, (eight ground balls, three takeaways) also contributed for Newport Harbor.
