Estancia summer junior cheer camp coming

Estancia High is having its Summer Junior Cheer Camp Aug. 13-16 at Jim Scott Stadium.

The cheer and dance camp is open to children in kindergarten through eighth grade. The four-day camp is taught by members of the Estancia High cheer program.

The camp is for both the beginning and experienced cheerleader, and it teaches the vital elements on how to become a successful cheerleader. Each session will last around 2 1/2 hours.

The cost is $120 per participant and will include daily snacks and drinks during the main break, a junior cheer camp tee and cheer bow, a team photo with the Estancia cheerleaders, and be allowed to perform during halftime of an Estancia High football game in the fall.
