OCC’s Lopez moves on to Grace University

Former Orange Coast College softball second baseman Ariana Lopez will compete next season at Grace University, Pirates Coach Jodie Legaspi-Kiaha said.

After a slow start to her sophomore season, Lopez batted .259 in Orange Empire Conference play with 14 hits, two doubles and five runs batted in.

Lopez posted a 4.0 grade-point average at OCC.

Grace University, in Omaha, Neb. competes in the National Christian College Athletic Assn.
