FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Amy Matsuoka and Alyaa Abdulghany shared medalist honors for the Sea Kings as both shot four-under-par 32 at Mile Square’s Classic Course in the nonleague match on Tuesday.

Celine Niu (36), Gabby Finear (44) and Sarah Reynoso (46) also scored for CdM (2-0).

Foothill 217, Newport Harbor 239

TUSTIN — Grace Ferrell shot two-over-par 38, for the Sailors’ low in the nonleague match at Tustin Ranch Golf Club Tuesday.

Nicole Nesbitt (49), Jaci Defeo (49), Kiana Herrera (50) and Tahya Corona (52) also scored for Newport Harbor (2-2).

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Sage Hill 10, Mater Dei 8

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Senior Jaclyn Gerschultz and sophomore Isabella Deckey each swept in singles for the Lightning in Tuesday’s season opener.

Maya Byrd and Michelle Hung won twice in doubles for Sage Hill, which plays host to Edison on Wednesday at The Tennis Club.

Newport Harbor 15, St. Margaret’s 3

Anna Burke and Kendall Cosenza swept at No. 1 doubles for the Sailors in the nonleague home match Tuesday.

The No. 2 doubles Elle Zielinski and Livi Zehnder also swept for Newport Harbor (2-0). No. 2 singles player Misha Pokusa beat St. Margaret’s No. 1, 7-5, Sailors Coach Kristen Case said.

Newport Harbor plays host to Mater Dei on Wednesday.

Estancia 10, Westminster 8

WESTMINSTER — Senior co-captain Kinley Ohland swept, 6-0, 6-1, 6-2, for the Eagles in Tuesday’s nonleague road match.

Venezia Garcia stepped up as a substitute and won her first singles varsity set, 6-2.

Estancia is 3-1.

Marina 15, Costa Mesa 3

HUNTINGTON BEACH — No. 1 singles player Kris Araracap won one set for the Mustangs in Tuesday’s nonleague match.

Caitlyn Wase and Dilara Ozonur won one set at No. 1 doubles, while Sylvia Catania and Crystal Henriquez won one at No. 3 doubles.

Costa Mesa is 2-1.
