The Sailors’ three doubles teams all won twice in Tuesday’s nonleague match at Newport Harbor High.

Anna Burke and Kendall Cosenza, Elle Zielinski and Olivia Zehnder, as well as Taryn Anderson and Eva Newsom, all won twice for Newport Harbor. Jenn Kingsley won twice in singles.

The Sailors (4-0) also beat San Clemente, 11-7, on Monday behind a sweep from Burke and Cosenza.

Newport Harbor plays host to rival Corona del Mar in the Battle of the Bay match Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

Senior Kris Araracap swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-3, at No. 1 singles for the Mustangs in Tuesday’s nonleague match at Costa Mesa High.

Juniors Megan Flaharty and Crystal Henriquez won twice as a doubles tandem for Costa Mesa (5-2).

The Mustangs also beat Century, 15-3, on Monday. They swept in doubles, with junior Gianna Valdez and freshman Hannah Mellies sweeping, 6-3, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles.

IRVINE— CdM’s Amy Matsuoka and Alyaa Abdulghany were co-medalists, each firing a two-under-par 34 in the Sea Kings’ Pacific Coast League opener Tuesday at Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course.

Celine Niu (39), Gabby Finear (40) and Sarah Reynoso (50) also scored for CdM (4-0, 1-0 in league).

Sailors senior Grace Farrell was medalist with a two-under-par 34 in the Sunset League opener Tuesday at Big Canyon Country Club.

Tehya Corona (44), Nicole Nesbitt (45), Madison Fernandez (46) and Teanna Herrera (48) also scored for Newport Harbor (3-2, 1-0 in league).

LAGUNA HILLS — CdM’s Leif Helgren won the Division 3 juniors race in 15 minutes, 53 seconds on Saturday.

Thomas Robertson was sixth in the Division 3 seniors race (16:28) for CdM, while Matt Paragas finished 13th in that race (16:48).

LAGUNA HILLS — CdM’s Raquel Powers was second in the Division 3 juniors race in 18 minutes, 31 seconds on Saturday.

The Sea Kings’ Gigi Lee was fourth in the Division 3 freshmen race in 20:21. Lily Schmidt (20:39) and Emma St. Geme (20:45) were ninth in the Division 3 seniors and juniors races, respectively.
