Bella Rosete and Violet Amrine led the Eagles with 10-over-par 45s in an Orange Coast League opener against the rival Mustangs on the Mesa Linda course at Costa Mesa Country Club on Wednesday.

Costa Mesa, which played host to the event, dropped to 0-3 after losing the head-to-head matchups with Laguna Beach (236), Estancia and Calvary Chapel (256).

Analyssa Cowie finished with a 46, followed by Priscilla Arreola (50) and Darby Lester (52).

Estancia improved to 1-4 overall.

Laguna Beach’s Bella Rose Robinson was the medalist at 38.

Kyle Fitzgerald scored five goals for the Eagles in Wednesday’s nonleague game at home.

Victor Godfrey added a goal for Estancia (3-8). Eizik Leyva made five saves.

Lakewood is 9-0.

Estancia returns to action Tuesday when it plays host to Los Alamitos.
