Girls’ Volleyball: Sage Hill advances to semifinals

LAKE ARROWHEAD — The top-seeded Lightning won the CIF Southern Section Division 3AA quarterfinal, 25-17, 25-19, 25-21, Saturday night in the Fighting Scots’ gym.

Halland McKenna had 13 kills, Kekai Whitford finished with nine kills and two aces, Jay Blevin contributed seven kills and three blocks and Maddy Abbott had 33 assists and three aces for Sage Hill (21-3).

The Lightning play host to Elsinore in the semifinals Tuesday at 7 p.m.
