College Roundup: Lions take care of Chapman

Senior guard Preston Wynne made four three-pointers on his way to a game-high 20 points to lead the host Lions in the nonconference game on Tuesday.
Junior guard Chris Gorman added 14 points, while DeAngelo Jones chipped in 10 points and eight assists for the winners (5-1).
Zach Allmon had nine rebounds and eight points, while Myles Smith added four points, two assists and four steals off the bench.
Corona del Mar High and Orange Coast College product John Joyce had seven points for Chapman (1-1), for which Dan Krikorian, a former Costa Mesa High player and head coach, is an assistant.

UC Irvine 86, Nevada 72
RENO, Nev. — Sophomore Mokun Fejemisin produced a career-high 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the visiting Anteaters in the nonconference game Sunday.
UCI senior guard Jennifer Tsurumoto had 19 points and five assists and senior Camille Buckley had 17 points and a game-high 15 rebounds for the winners (2-1).
UCI received 44 of its 85 points from the bench, led by Fejemisin and senior Vanessa Aguilar (13 points).
Nevada fell to 2-1.

Grossmont 13, Orange Coast 12
NORWALK — The No. 3-seeded Pirates were upset in overtime of the Southern California Regional Championships on Friday at Cerritos College.
The No. 6-seeded Griffins saw OCC score six times in the fourth quarter to force overtime.
Colby Watson led OCC (20-6) with four goals, while Austin Wing and Scott Brush had three apiece.
