High School Boys’ Basketball Roundup: Dasca hits game-winner for Costa Mesa

Junior guard Nico Dasca hit a game-winning pull-up jumper with three seconds left to lift the Costa Mesa High boys’ basketball team to an 83-82 win over Santiago in the Grizzly Invitational at Loara High on Friday.

Dasca finished with 19 points, and Osman Hefner had 28 points. Tre Villalpando contributed 18 points.

Costa Mesa (2-3) closes out the tournament with Fullerton at Irvine High on Saturday at 1:45 p.m.

Pacifica Christian Orange County 77, Eastside Christian 15

Sophomore guard Dominick Harris scored 32 points in the Tritons’ nonleague game at home Friday.

Josh Sims added 13 points for Pacifica Christian (2-2).

Pacifica 69, Sage Hill 61

Junior center Johnny King led the Lightning with 22 points in the semifinals of the Los Amigos Tournament on Friday.

Sage Hill is 2-2 overall.
