Breakdown: Corona del Mar (0-1) is looking to bounce back from its opening loss in Week Zero, a 45-24 setback against JSerra … Los Gatos (1-0), from Northern California, beat San Jose Pioneer 42-10 in its season opener … Los Gatos is the defending De Anza League champion and last year advanced to the second round of the CIF Central Coast Section Open Division II playoffs before losing to Archbishop Mitty … CdM is ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division 4 … The Sea Kings traveled north last year in their second game to play Los Gatos, earning a 31-13 victory behind two rushing touchdowns from JT Murphy … CdM has not started a season with an 0-2 record since the year 2000 … The Sea Kings are playing their second home game at renovated Davidson Field. Newport Harbor first plays on its home field on Sept. 8 against Chino Hills.
