Key Eagles: Jr. RB/DB Trevor Pacheco (65 carries for 326 yards, three TDs); Sr. QB Vincent Duarte (27 of 51 passing for 242 yards, three INTs); Jr. WR/CB Nathan Guyot (10 catches for 100 yards, one TD).
Key Trojans: Jr. RB/SS Zach Goodfriend (30 carries for 174 yards, two TDs); Sr. RB/FS Daniel Dolan (27 carries for 146 yards, three TDs); Sr. MLB Max Haughey (team-best 28 tackles).
Breakdown: Estancia is o-3 for the first time in Coach Mike Bargas’ 11-year tenure, and things don’t get easier this week against University (3-0) … Both teams are playing their second straight opponent from the other team’s league. Estancia lost to another Pacific Coast League team last week, falling to Irvine 33-7, while the Trojans beat Calvary Chapel 43-14 last week … University’s first four opponents, including Estancia, have a combined 2-12 record so far this season … University, led by longtime coach and Costa Mesa resident Mark Cunningham, is a familiar nonleague opponent for Estancia, which last beat the Trojans in 2014 but lost to them 28-0 in 2015 and 37-7 last year … University is looking for its third straight 4-0 start to the season.
