Team USA went four of eight on power plays while holding Hungary scoreless in five attempts.

“We were great on defense tonight and had the intensity and our goal play was — Gabby Stone was — fantastic,” USA head coach Adam Krikorian said in a release. “Hungary is not an easy team to play against. We stayed focused and [Sunday] we play Canada who are playing really well.”

Fischer had scored the game-winning goal as time expired in Team USA’s 13-12 win over Russia on Thursday, which helped the Americans win Group A.
