Trujillo makes first team for Los Amigos girls’ volleyball
Los Amigos High senior libero Brittney Trujillo received All-Garden Grove League first team honors in girls’ volleyball.
Trujillo helped turn things around at Los Amigos. The Lobos had won just five matches over the last three seasons combined, and they surpassed that mark in this season alone, going 7-16 overall.
Los Amigos finished in last place in league at 2-8.
Trujillo, a 4.0 student, served at a 93% clip and averaged 12 digs per match.
La Quinta senior setter Julie Sumalpong was named the Garden Grove League MVP.
