Laguna Beach girls’ volleyball sweeps past Saddleback

Sophomore opposite Gretchen Webb had a team-high seven kills as the Laguna Beach High girls’ volleyball team defeated Saddleback, 25-6, 25-7, 25-11.

Laguna Beach has now won 113 consecutive league matches, 104 of those coming in the Orange Coast League.

The Breakers (7-5, 3-0) converted their attacks at a 0.390 rate for a total of 31 kills. Taylor Magee, Jackie Strawn, and Cosette Chesley each had four kills.

Allie Evans had nine assists and five aces.

Saddleback drops to 9-8, 0-3 in league.
