Breakdown: Los Amigos (1-0) has demonstrated an aptitude to run the football. In 2016, then senior Steven Hernandez shared the Garden Grove League Offensive MVP award after rushing for 1,906 yards and 20 touchdowns…After last week, the Lobos hope that they have seen a new star born in their backfield. Sophomore Brian Pacheco debuted with a line of 236 rushing yards and two touchdowns in Los Amigos’ season-opening 19-0 win over Fairmont Prep…Ocean View (0-0) has yet to take the field this year, but its defensive front is surely anxious to meet Pacheco at, or behind, the line of scrimmage. Nose guard Cesar Montano and defensive end Andrew Helmer are among those leading the Seahawks’ defense…The Lobos recorded their first shutout since 2014 last week. On Friday, they will be tasked with defending Ocean View’s towering receivers. Tight end Adam Meyer is 6-foot-5. Wide receiver Nathaniel Washington is 6-foot-4.
