Pacifica Christian girls’ volleyball draws even with win in second match

Senior Breck Burwell had 13 aces and seven digs, as Pacifica Christian swept Calvary Baptist, 25-9, 25-17, 25-12.

Junior Maddy Alaluf and sophomore Annika Bahnsen each had five digs. Junior Emma Hammond had five kills.

Pacifica Christian (1-1) notched the win on Monday after suffering defeat in its home opener on Friday. Fairmont Prep was the straight-sets victor in that one, 32-30, 25-22, 25-17.

The first set saw 10 lead changes, but it was the Huskies that prevailed.

Burwell produced 13 digs in the loss.
