Sage Hill earns first win of the season in girls’ volleyball

The Sage Hill School girls’ volleyball team earned its first win of the season by defeating Saddleback Valley Christian, 26-24, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20, in a nonleague match at home.

Senior setter Jade Blevins led the way with 31 assists. Junior Sydnee Francis had 18 kills, and junior Amijay De’Long added 14 kills.

Sophomore Danielle Beder rounded out the Lightning (1-2) offensive attack with eight kills.
