Four local girls’ soccer players are on the SoCal Blues U15 club team, which is one win away from a perfect season.

The Blues routed Newport Beach-based Slammers FC, 6-0, in an Elite Clubs National League national semifinal game Friday at the Surf Cup Sports Park in San Diego.

The Blues will play Solar Chelsea SC, of Dallas, in the U15 ECNL national title game Saturday at 9 a.m.

Corona del Mar High’s Megan Chelf and Trinity Rodman, Laguna Beach High’s Reilyn Turner and Newport Beach resident Lily Shea (Mater Dei) are all contributors for the Blues, coached by Greg Baker. They have an undefeated record this season, and also have not been tied.

Turner, a forward, scored three goals for the Blues in Friday’s national semifinal win. Shea plays left back for the Blues, with Chelf at right back.

Rodman also is a forward but missed Friday’s game due to a foot injury. She and Chelf were both Daily Pilot Dream Team selections last winter after helping Corona del Mar High earn an undefeated regular season, win the Pacific Coast League title and advance to the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 2 playoffs.

Turner also was a second-team Dream Team selection after she helped Laguna win the Orange Coast League and advance to the Division 4 quarterfinals.

In other action Friday, the Slammers FC U17 girls lost to Crossfire Premier of Washington, 2-0, in another ECNL national semifinal game. Local players on the Slammers U17 team include Jenna Nighswonger of Huntington Beach High and Emily Johnson of Newport Harbor.

The Slammers girls will play Colorado Storm in the third-place game Saturday at 1 p.m.
