COSTA MESA — Kevin Cho went three for five with three runs scored to lead the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Tuesday.
Matt Moynihan went two for three with three runs batted in and Jordan Beck went two for four with two runs scored for OCC (16-2, 2-1 in conference).
Saddleback is 7-7, 0-3.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
UC Davis 72, UC Irvine 45
DAVIS – Sophomore Tayler Champion finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and two steals in the Anteaters’ Big West Conference quarterfinal game Tuesday.
The 45 points were the lowest UCI (15-15) has scored this season and the 27-point margin of defeat was the worst.
Jade Smith-Williams contributed seven points and seven assists, while Kassandra McCalister added seven points and eight rebounds.
UC Davis (22-8) advances to Friday’s semifinals to face UC Riverside on at the Honda Center.

Fresno State Lexus Classic
FRESNO — UC Irvine senior Bryan Harris finished second after Pacific’s Alex Johnson beat him in a five-hole playoff Tuesday at Sunnyside Golf Course.
Harris shot one-under-par 71 in the final round, drawing even with Johnson at six-under 210 after three rounds.
The Anteaters’ Jerry He shot an even-par 72 in the final round and placed 16th at 221.
San Diego State, ranked No. 7, won the 16-team tournament.

SOFTBALL
Doubleheader
COSTA MESA — Vanguard pitcher Katharine Jablonski struck out five and allowed three hits in eight shutout innings to help the Lions split the nonconference doubleheader Tuesday.
Vanguard beat Concordia of Illinois, 1-0, in the nightcap and lost, 2-1.
Angela St. Croix drove in the game-winning run in the eighth inning, helping Jablonski improve to 3-2.
St. Croix went a combined three for six with two doubles in the two games.
Amanda Young went two for three with one RBI in the first game for Vanguard (10-7).

FULLERTON — Freshman Rex Miller and sophomore Trevor Dalbey each dropped only one game in singles play for the Pirates in an Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.
OCC improved to 6-3, 3-1 in conference.

COSTA MESA — Sophomore Hannah Mancino won her respective singles and doubles sets for the Pirates in an Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.
Mancino teamed with Anna Walinowicz in No. 2 doubles play for OCC (3-6, 1-4 in conference).
Lianne Wheelock won in No. 2 singles.
